A Goose Has Been Nesting For Several Weeks In A Cart That A Dock Worker Had Temporarily Dumped Some Planter Remnants Into As They Prepared For Spring Flowers. The Goose Decided That Was The Perfect Place To Lay Her Eggs. Anyone Who Has Walked Past The Cart Has Been Hissed At.

Now The Proud Goose Has Become Extremely Protective. Notice The Soft Fuzzy Baby Geese Beneath The Angry Mom.

The rusty stains visible near Conley Bottom Resort are evidence of the lake's annual "turning over",
which is natures way of filtering the lake, leaving the water clear and green for spring.

   

   
 Conley Bottom Marina was in full swing the Saturday before Easter,
with a fishing tournament that filled the parking lot to the top of the hill.
