July, 2007 Carisa, Just a short note to thank you again for referring me to Mark Proffit of Lake City to move my pontoon house boat. I had difficulty in finding someone who was equipped and close enough to move me cost effectively. Mark and his wife were just amazing. They showed up when scheduled, loaded the boat without incident (they really made it look easy), transported the boat from Portmouth, Ohio to South Holston near Bristol, TN. again without incident and quickly and efficiently. He also helped me do some maintenance to the motor while out of the water and helped me get running after some carb trouble. We could not have been more pleased. Mark and his wife have my highest recommendation, and I owe you a heap of thanks for putting us together. Frank |

April, 2007 Terry, I just wanted to take a moment and tell you how much I and my family appreciated all the help that Jake Pyzik has given us. We meet Jake on Saturday at Sulpher Creek with full intentions of closing a deal that day, however much to our dismay it fell through. However Jake has given us tips on boats contacted us when he has something that he thinks might accommodate our family. However we found another boat that was for sale through an individual that would accommodate our family. I just wanted to say thank you for having a great sales team and someone who is not pushy. We all appreciated that and we enjoyed working with Jake and I have recommended him to several friends that are looking for boats this summer. October, 2006 Terry, My name is Troy and I have been looking for houseboats on the web for quite some time. My purpose is so that I have a better knowledge of "What to look for" and "How much am I going to get for my dollar". Your website has enormous amounts of products for any dollar amount. I like your site very much and will use it to help me stay informed, Thank you. I have questions about houseboats in general and would like your opinion please. What is the R-factor on the insulation of a houseboat. I know this answer will vary, but there should be some kind of industry standard. The reason I am asking is I want to know if I can live year round on the boat. April-October on the water, October-April off the water. I live in North Dakota and that means REALLY cold, approximately coldest in January and temps. are around 0-10deg. average. If you could help me out on that, I would be very grateful. October, 2006 Hello Jake, I am in New Zealand and am amazed at the selection and quality of your Houseboats. I have some questions : -We are looking for one to live on and do our boating in the Hauraki Gulf out of Auckland. There are many Islands and sheltered bays but moderate seas sometimes have to be crossed. -What would be the cost to ship say a 40' one to New Zealand ? I look forward to your comments. June, 2006 Terry, I was just sitting here on the back deck of the Cumberland Classic I bought off you last fall, watching the sunset on the lake, and was thinking of the day I decided to buy this boat. So I thought I’d shoot you and email to say thanks. I named her the Margaret Elizabeth after my grandmothers. I have made a few changes too, I put a flat screen TV on the wall and put a fireplace in the space where the TV was, it’s the talk of the dock here. I am planning to add a flybridge sometime soon. We are constantly scanning it and the boats, dreaming of the day we can move back south and buy us a "live aboard" houseboat. We are joining my brother and his family this May at Dale Hollow (Cedar Hill Resort) for a short 1 week vacation and have already reserved a 50 footer for the stay. Cant hardly wait! We have been living in Nebraska since my retirement from Uncle Sam's Canoe Club (I say that in jest - best damn Navy in the world) but lately both of us have been missing not only the weather down there, but also the people, customs and lifestyle. Jan. 2005 Terry, Jackie delivered the houseboat yesterday. I had him go ahead and paint the bottom even though it might have held another year or two. Anyway, it looks great, Jackie is a great guy to work with and I would highly recommend him. He said he would come get it and paint it again next time. My wife and I are quite pleased with the boat, my "neighbors" at the lake were quite impressed as well. Hope to meet you in person someday. Thanks for the tee shirts as well. Its sounds like a steel considering what they are selling for. I have A+ credit. Yet still is difficult finding financing due to the age. Do you know of any way freight/shipping companies etc. that would take it to Negril for me and at what cost.
